warmed up a couple of times haha struggle and my legs felt pretty tired. i was super duper excited to race though!! first lap went out fastttt. like almost as fast as the first lap of my 800m last weekend. yikes! that was kinda tough mentally (and physically lol) but i just had to push it aside, use it as a head start, and keep fighting. wanted to stay with watson and have a better third lap and kick. the only thing i regret is not fighting a little harder during the last 30 or so meters to beat one more girl! first lap of my 800m was perfectly on pace for breaking 2:30, which was what i wanted, but then i died hard because the 800 is super fast and hurts like crazy lol. so it was a pr, but not really what i wanted. definitely didn&#39;t try as hard as i should have mentally or physically on the second lap so i will work on that if i ever race this again!! it was three&nbsp;sets of 300m (@800 pace) w/60sec rest 200m (as fast as you can) w/400m rest. my goal 300m time was 54 and 200m was 37 or faster! my splits were 54 34 52 36 55 35 and i felt really good about it! that&#39;s okay, at least i was warm for my race ;) i felt good and thought i was making some good moves and surges, but i&#39;m sure there is more i can do! felt like i ran faster than i ever have before so i was pretty disappointed when i found out i didn&#39;t pr. i really wanted to break 5:30 and felt like the conditions were perfect to do so! not today, but it&#39;s alright! talked to jamie and she says i need to do something during the third lap or it will always be slower, that&#39;s just how it is. that&#39;s what i will work on next time!
