what a dayyy! felt kinda way nervous but also way excited to race. decided the best thing i could do is just be positive and give it everything i have! went out slower than i expected for the first mile, considering it's the most flat. but, after that, every time i approached a hill i made the choice to be excited! i made the hills my strength and really took advantage of the downhills. i felt really strong and confident, despite the difficulty of the course. felt like i gave it all i had on my kick as well and threw in some solid surges. i couldn't be happier with how things went, it was definitely a great end to my cross country career :)
