did some grass miles, 5min plank test, and finished mileage with some high quality pals. abs and hips and push-ups later

abs and hips and push-ups. mile wu and workout was 6x400m @5k pace, straight into 50m sprint with 2:30 (active) rest. wasn't a hard workout, just focused on feeling the pace and practicing a good kick which was fun! goal 400m split was 94 and my splits were 92 94 92 90 91 89 and it felt good. cool down was kinda rough because i had super bad cramps but it's always a good time with watson :)

tbh not sure how much i actually ran today but it was definitely close to or more than a half marathon haha. played in an ultimate frisbee tournament and it was super fun! i am wrecked now so that counts as my running for the day lol

fun run up jail trail with the girls and mostly watson :) super pretty views and just a really good run. abs and hips and push-ups

mile wu then workout was 5x1000m (first two at 5k pace, second two first 200m faster then settle into 5k and last one 5k pace with a 300m kick at the end) with 4min rest followed by 3x400m at mile pace with 2:30min rest. stayed positive and confident and felt way relaxed and smooth. my goals were 3:55 for 1000m and 82 for 400m. the splits were 3:52 3:57 3:50 3:49 3:39 81 78 78 so i was really happy with how it turned out! did abs and hips and push-ups as well

pretty fun day today, did a 15min indian run on the grass at easy pace! i've never done one before and i really liked it :) 7:19ap for that and then just finished mileage. abs and hips and push-ups!

solid recovery this morning on the trail and there were some pretty views of utah lake so that was sweet. i felt really really good today! also i am super duper pumped because today is sadies!!!

today was wonderful. slept in because it's fall break and then ran and the weather was beautiful! i felt really good and could actually go fast! it's been awhile since i have been able to go fast without dying. i think it's been a lack of sleep and hydration. but i am working on those things!
