half mile wu. did 20min endurance elliptical (and bike when the elliptical started squeaking like crazy lol) and a killer circuit workout with speed squats, squats with weight, jump lunges, push-ups, running arms, overhead press, burpees, and tricep extension. abs and hips.

mile wu and 6x1min pickups at 6:05 ap. felt really strong! went on a hike which was so fun! decided forget-me-nots are my new favorite flower :) went to the lake later and another girl wanted to go in the paddle boat so i went with and got a nice quad workout as we moved along at an approximate speed of six inches per minute ;) good times haha.

got back from camp and was dead tired and dehydrated anddd it was nice and hot but i ran anyways and today was an easy pace day (6:45-7:45 was mine from last season so i assumed it was the same since i haven't been to practice?) and i had 7:09 ap.

wu and drills then did the kicker. wanted to stay with watson but after like half a mile she picked it up and i didn't follow. wish i would have though. was pretty happy with my kick but i know it could be better! really happy with this overall though since it's a 19 second pr from last season already! abs and hips.

wu to cemetery and did a grass mile there. also did a relay game but my team got 2nd #soclose ;) after that was just finish up to low at easy pace so the last three miles were 7:22 ap. abs and hips.

late practice today! mile wu and drills and then had a short tempo run (2miles) and my goal pace was 6:32-6:47. first mile i stayed with watson and it was 6:39 and second mile my mental game was kinda rough but i stayed in there. stayed as close as i could to watson and came in at 6:38 but shoutout to her because she was way faster! despite feeling like i was gonna throw up the whole time (probably because my body isn't used to having food/water before morning practice), i was really happy with it since i stayed on pace and was consistent! my legs felt pretty tired on the cool down. got back and did weights and abs and hips.

my cyst hurt all day yesterday while standing/sitting so jamie said not to do too much today. i think it burst or something because there's like two bumps now... it hurt while running and a lot more after. abs and hips.

not gonna lie, i was pretty sad to bike today. i was excited to do the hill ladders but i have to cross train the next few days. it's a struggle because i don't know what to do about my foot but the doctor doesn't have openings for another month. anyways, the workout was 3 sets of 30sec on 60sec off 60sec on 60sec off 90sec on 60sec off 2min on 60sec off and the on was like a fast uphill resistance feel. 50min total biking. it was pretty hard for me since it was a tough workout and i haven't biked in awhile. abs and hips and ice bath!

biked 20min wu and 30min endurance ride with an average heart rate of 160. total bike time was 55min. abs and hips and weights. also everyone, MIRACLES HAPPEN! the doctors had a cancellation and i can get in tomorrow morning to get things figured out :)

so my cyst is feeling super good now and i have been dying to run so i did! did a 400m buildup at the track just for fun. i felt amazing and my foot didn't even bother me once :) 7:54 ap

cyst still isn't hurting so that's a win! did the kicker and did not feel strong at all mentally or physically... so it was a rough time. i was glad i had mario to run with though! ran back down and called it a day because i don't want to trigger something in my foot again. so i'll just build up mileage slowly again. abs and hips

wu and another easy pace run. i feel like it's actually getting easy! 7:16 ap and a 10min endurance ride on the bike after (average heart rate was 165) to finish up to low mileage. did weights and abs and hips.

wu and i was feeling pretty sore so i was kinda worried for tempo. my goal was to have a faster pace than last time (6:39) and to be consistent. started out with mario and ashton and then gan joined at about a mile left, she really helped me keep going so shoutout to her. my first mile was 6:35 and i did a little surge to keep on pace. second mile was 6:34 and then i was just hanging on the last half mile. average pace ended up being 6:35 and i was super happy with it! decided i really need to work on my kick, so that's the goal for next time! abs and hips after.
