wu and felt pretty good. got to the line and was nervous. the timing system was having problems so we waited around for 15 minutes and it helped me have some time to calm down. first lap was faster 78-79 and i slowed way down for the second and third lap so that's a bummer. picked it up in the end. i am pretty happy with it and felt really confident going in! abs and hips. shoutout to my buddy dalpal for killing it :)

mile wu then progression run. it was one mile 90sec slower than 2mile goal pace (7:29) one mile 60sec slower than 2mile goal pace (6:59) one mile 60sec slower than mile goal (6:29) and half a mile all you have left. first mile was 7:17 and i felt great. started out feeling strong on the second, but got a killer sideache halfway through. kept fighting and came through at 6:57. third mile was a bummer, 6:37. when it came to the last half mile, i had nothing left. i slowed down for a few seconds then decided i could do it. went as fast as i could. not my best workout and i kinda gave up mentally towards the end. not very happy with myself but it gives me something to learn from. abs and hips.

abs and hips. mile wu and workout was at goal mile pace (5:28) and was 2sets of 600m (2:03) w/4min rest 500m (1:42) w/3min rest 400m (1:22) w/3min rest 300m (1:01) w/3min rest. twas pretty windy in basically every direction so that was fun. not super happy with my times but i felt like the effort was there and i didn't give up. splits were 2:08 1:43 1:22 1:02 2:09 1:45 1:22 1:01. decided doing speed alone is kinda rough lol. did a weight workout after.

and it came to pass in those days that there was low mileage and brynlee did rejoice exceedingly. 6x60sec mile effort hill repeats up the gulley. i feel alright about it, just working on my mental game. abs and hips.

felt awful. when i thought my cramp pain couldn't get any worse, it got about a hundred times worse today. wu was so so painful and i didn't know how i was going to do it. gun went off and i stayed in there mentally. physically i felt completely dead the entire time. i couldn't get myself to go fast and it was frustrating. afterwards the cramps were extremely painful and i didn't know why it hurt so bad when i didn't even run fast. my legs don't feel dead but i pushed my body to the limits during the race. i don't understand. anyways shoutout to everyone else who raced because ya killed it!

mile wu and workout was 3 sets of 4x400m with 2:30min rest between reps and 4min active rest between sets. first set is current mile, second set faster, and third set faster than that. i don't have all the splits but i averaged 82 on the first set. thought i was going to die since that's my end of season goal and i was supposed to do two more faster sets. average for the second set was 80. average for the third set was 79. really happy with how this went because i stayed positive the whole time! abs and hips.

nice recovery miles and abs and hips. later did a mile with watson and we helped pace caitlyn at the tri meet to break 7 in the mile. she got 6:52ish so shoutout to her for killing it!

sat around at the meet all day and did some cheering. warmed up and felt kinda scared but i just told myself to have fun with it. went out in a good place and stayed in a good place. picked girls off one at a time and just kept my eyes up and focused on catching the next girl. i stayed positive and felt confident and calm. by the end i was really happy with how much i'd moved up. my time wasn't the best but i was able to get a feel for how the 2mile works and i feel like i have a lot more in me! and i decided i like it more than the 800m lol.

abs and hips and mile wu and then 12 repeats workout (or 13 because we accidentally did extra oops). it's the workout where you do 300m at 800m pace (55-57) adding 2sec for the wind (57-59) and if you hit slower than the range you move down to 200m (36-38) adding 2sec for wind (38-40) and 90sec rest between each repeat. did 6x300m and the 6th one i hit a 60 so i moved down to 200m. we lost count so ended up doing an extra 200m. so 7x200m all in the range of 36-40sec. i was a little disappointed that i didn't get as many 300's as the last time, but my pace was faster this time and i gave it all my effort so i can't really complain. shoutout to kaylee for being a great workout buddy!

i don't even know. my legs felt like they couldn't move but i stayed positive and didn't let anyone pass me. didn't really take good care of my body this week with sleep, hydration, and recovery so it makes sense.
