so today was pretty awesome! i just feel so happy lol so don't mind my craziness :) started out with hips and cryday abs then ran to falcon gorge and did 3x200m w/3min rest 400m w/90sec rest 200m w/90sec rest (with one bonus minute of rest between the second and third set!) at mile pace, up the hill! lemme tell ya, i felt like i was sprinting and still didn't hit the desired times... but i pushed myself and am satisfied because i never let myself settle in or slow down! goals were 41 for 200m and 82 for 400m and my splits were 45 91 44 44 93 45 44 92 43. tough workout but i feel good about it! really fun cool down with my best friend :)

what a day! did abs and hips then headed out to run! the weather was perfect and i just enjoyed every bit of it :) it was one of those days that reminds me why i love running! also saw some pals like madeline, cierra, and dallin! LIFE IS SO GOOD :))

woohoo! mile workouts are fun :) 6x400m w/45sec rest 200m w/3min rest between sets! my goal 400m split was 82 and 200m was 41. my actual splits were 81 40 82 40 81 40 78 39 79 40 76 37 and i felt way good about it :) really just had fun with it and stayed positive! just an overall good good day :) i'm ready for racing the mile this weekend!! hips, twosday abs, push-ups! shoutout to all of my amazing teammates because they are so speedy!!

what a day :) warmed up and everything felt good except for my extra full stomach since i ate wayyy too much food before the meet. considered racing something other than the mile because it didn't feel very good at all! but i really wanted to do the mile and i'm glad i did!! started out in the back, knowing girls would go out too fast. built up each lap and passed people until i realized i had a shot at winning my heat. that was an exciting feeling haha, but i never caught the last girl! if i could change one thing, it would be pushing harder to catch her. but i was so happy because i didn't have a single thought in the entire race about pain - i just stayed confident and had a blast! HUGE SHOUTOUT TO DALPAL for breaking 10 in the 2mile and MY BRO COLE for getting crazy pr's all the time! and to aubrey and everyone :) had the best cool down with dal, definitely one for the books :) woohoo!

speed workout! i did the mile workout (yay!) which was 6x400m w/3min rest followed by 4x100m w/1min rest. goal splits were 82 and 20. hit 77 78 76 77 78 77 16 16 16 16 and felt great! it felt fast, but fun :) my achilles has been hurting after running over the last week or so, but hopefully it's nothing to stress about! hips, twosday abs, and my first ever pull-up by myself!

warmup to falcon gorge and did 3x100m 200m 300m 400m 500m ladders up the hill at mile effort w/jogging back down as rest. it was tough! i felt slow going up the hills but also felt like i couldn't really go any faster. i feel satisfied with my effort though, just should have been a little bit more positive and pumped my arms harder! mile cool down then upperbody weights, abs, and hips. shoutout to dal for racing at simplot and doing amazing :)

ran a few miles then did a speed workout on the bike. started with 30 lunges then did 45sec at 800m effort w/rest then 90sec on w/rest then 45sec on w/3min rest between sets and 30 lunges between sets. did two sets. felt like i pushed myself, so that was good! finished mileage, coach said count the bike workout as 2.5 miles. abs and hips

today was kinda confusing because we were told a couple of different workouts and mileage to do. so i did six sets of 2x200m at a little faster than mile pace... ish. my splits were kind of all over the place buuuut they were 40 41 41 40 39 40 38 40 38 39 38 36. my mile pace for 200m would be 41. i don't really know how to feel about this. it didn't feel very hard so i probably didn't do it right? i don't know, weird things!
